Mares

All our mares and our stallion apart from Woodstock Satin and Southeau Mynx were imported by us.

We have spent years checking out bloodlines, talking to breeders and trainers both here and in the USA and decided the best thing to do was go an look for ourselves, despite a few skeptical comments of "they don't know what they're doing going out there" and "two Britains in America" and "I've got a buckskin stallion you could have bought" - what with Peppy San Badger, Cutter Bill and Doc O Lena on his papers?? I think not.

Muffin's foals winning and the very good chums we have made because of him and his foals - I think we did something right!

They are chosen for their proven performance bloodlines, temperament, soundness in body and in their head! and sometimes a nice colour. We do not breed for colour alone - but we do get lots of buckskins, duns, the occasional grulla and palominos to add to their superb performance bloodlines and temperaments.
