Jiven Holiwood Queen

We imported this mare for a client a few years ago. He did clinics and won western pleasure with her the last year, due to a change of his circumstances, he offered her back to us. We immediately bought her back. Well, we weren't going to import one we wouldn't have wanted ourselves!

Foal due in June 2008

I rode her a few times before we turned her out with Muffin, as we couldn't wait to see a foal out of this lovely mare. She is 15.1 with a huge hip, shoulder and tremendous bone. She is very sweet and gentle and one the kindest mares we've ever come across.

She had a gorgeous palomino filly last year which was a bit of a shock. I expected dun or buckskin but it never occurred to me she would have a palomino!

She is a half sister to Chukas Dun Jiven (same mother).

"Woods Lil Peppy is the stallion standing at MLP Quarter Horses. He is a 84% NFQHA bay stallion foaled in 1995 by Doctor Wood who is by Doc O Lena and out of a Peppy San Badger/Dry Doc mare. The Para's bought Woods Lil Peppy Four years ago as an untrained seven-year-old. Liz admits that this was "less than ideal, but," she continues, "we bought him for his bloodlines, his build, and his disposition."

Woods Lil Peppy went into training with Cliff Kellmer late in his eight-year-old year. He proved to be talented, was a quick learner and began his show career in 2004.

In his first year of showing he earned his All-Around Certificate of Merit with points in Reining, Working Cow Horse, and Dally Team Roping Heeling.

He has continued showing successfully in 2005, Adding Tie Down Roping to his performance. He finished the year with 11 All Around Championships, Champion Region One Tie Down Roping, his Register of Merit in Reined Working Cow Horse and Dally Team Roping, and was a 2005 World Show Qualifier in Reined Working Cow Horse.

Woods Lil Peppy will continue in 2006 in both AQHA Reined Working Cow Horse AND Roping Events, in addition to NRCHA Events.

Woods Lil Peppy continues to prove himself and his disposition remains unmatched. Foals by him are exhibiting his talent and disposition.
