Civil Ceremony

My brother Andy and his partner Malcolm recently made it legal after 20 years.

Graham and I attended the ceremony and it was the most wonderful day, the weather was perfect and the ceremony was the most emotional, superb event.  We wouldn't have missed it for anything.  The pics tell the story.

I have video which I am struggling to downsize (new software and me are not the best of friends!) and when it's done I'll put it on Youtube.

You should've been there - it was magic! There are pics and video of Malcolm riding Chianti on this site.  Malcolm is a qualified riding instructor and hopes to carry on eventing with his new horse.

Andy is, well, he's not really sure but for now he's a qualified gas heater installer with Corgi plus works for Comet.

Thanks boys for inviting us!

Something occurred to me, you know how when you have a gathering of people at such events, there's always one loony.....well, we weren't aware of one so maybe it was me!!!! LOL!!

Walking up to the ceremony.

There it is, in the mist!

Gosh, all dressed up with bling and makeup, and that was just Graham!! What would the animals say!

Graham and brother Andy

Not a dry eye in the house...thank goodness for waterproof mascara

Singing

"If you sing another wrong note, Mal....!!"

O.K......forgiven!

"Shut up, you two.... I'm trying to pose here"..Two Brothers...hey isn't that a film about tigers.....??

Oh dear!  They brought rice aswell and it gets everywhere!  At least it wasn't cooked rice!

Oh no! The confetti is making my bucks fizz like wallpaper paste!

"If you don't stop throwing rice and confetti, I'll thwack you with my wooden spoon...I will!!!!"

True love...picking rice and confetti out your partner's drink

Someone took the wooden spoon off him, he was getting violent.

Magical setting near Exeter racecourse.

Andy with Mal, Jill - a great friend of their's, and Jill's husband...can't remember his name...sorry!

There is always one!! And it wasn't me!!! Phew!  Ali pole dancing...without the pole, now that's skill...!!!

Come on Andy, you can't eat all those chips on your own

That's better, nice to share (doesn't look too happy about sharing though)

Oh, No!  someone's eaten them all

Hmmmm....Graham looks smug, perhaps it was him!?

"Well, as this is a cheap do, and no live music I'll do my own music by blowing the top of the bottle"

Watch out...it's Zorro!!

Chartered civil engineer Graham can't resist checking the columns on this structure

Andy's relaxing

He's not that short really, I was wearing heels.....heels and bling and makeup!!

Mal and his brother

Just a brilliant brilliant day.
