SOLD! This gorgeous mare came from Golden West, same home as Muffin, Chianti and Holly. I was perusing a video of horses for some chums and spotted her in the background. Some people came to see our horses, and whilst watching the video, I said, "that's the mare we just bought" - Graham looked at me, looked at them and said "somewhere in the last week we seem to have acquired another horse and I knew nothing about it! I hardly notice any more!" (He's soooo understanding!!) She arrived with Holly and Woody just over four years ago. I rode her about 3 times and then decided to take her to Bob Mayhew's clinic in Hereford at Emma French's place. My fourth ride on her and I was a tad apprehensive, as she'd only had about 2 months riding total before she came to us. She was superb. She neighed a bit but otherwise was perfectly behaved and enjoyed herself. DJ produced a gorgeous filly by Muffin last year and was not re-bred due to the lateness of the foal (September). Anyway, here she is, bloodlines to die for and a very sweet temperament. A half sister to DJ won some money cutting and the owners were offered $100,000 for her - they turned it down! There are two more mares in the UK by Chuka Lena. DJ is in foal to Muffin for an Spring 2009 foal.
