Sold Horses In Action
Below are some photos and comments from people that have purchased horses from us in the past. We are always delighted to hear how people are getting on with their horses. We have made a good many friends over the years when selling horses. We really enjoy meeting 'like minded' people that enjoy the Quarter Horse breed we love so much. Some of the owners have come back for their second and even third Quarter Horse, so it's nice to know we must be doing something right. (passing on our addiction for Quarter Horses at least!)DAISY CUTTER LENA |

Thank you so much for breeding Tia (Daisy Cutter Lena) She really is a horse in a million, make that a zillion! I will never forget first seeing her as she loped towards me as a foal and my jaw dropped when I saw her balanced, controlled movement. I hadn’t seen anything like that in a senior pleasure show class, let alone in a foal. Her temperament is that of a giant Golden Retriever and she has such a loving character (impossible to walk in the field without giving her a cuddle) I took her to a few shows just to ‘get used to the atmosphere’ and have been blown away that she won her first Championship at only 10 months old. Since then she has won quite a few classes and even qualified for the AQHA World show as a 2 year old. (Not bad for a horse I was taking to the show just to get used to the show ground) She has the brain of a Border Collie as loves to play with the trail course. I don’t think I have ever met a horse that learns so quickly. She is in training at the moment with Terrie Heid Brazier, who has said that she is a “pleasure to train” . Within only days of backing she was taking Terrie over raised poles, the bridge and even mastered a sidepass on the first time asked. After speaking to other trainers that I see at the shows, anyone that has an EQH to train raves about how good they are. Really looking forward to the shows ahead, I will keep you updated with her progress! Debbie Burns |

We bought Dually - aka Doc Duz It Easy - as a weanling, after picking him out within weeks of being born. We were impressed with both his parents' conformation and temperament and, of course, Dually himself! |
BUENO PEP O LENA |

Pat and Graham; what can I say about Buffy (Bueno Pep O Lena) other than that which I have already shared with you. She has turned out to be an outstanding mare not only in the show pen but also as a superb character and friend to have around the farm. Having met her at 10 days old I have always felt a true bond with her and, not being the most confident and capable of riders, she has always looked after me whatever situation we find ourselves in. Not only is she a stunning looking mare, she is calm, intelligent, versatile and caring; all the characteristics I know you value in your breed program. |

Dear Pat & Graham I just wanted to say what a wonderful horse Bailey has turned out. I had 'hoped' that he would be a good show horse, after seeing how pretty Susie is, but never in my wildest dreams did I expected to get the 15 Halter wins and several Grand Championship titles that he won from age 1-3. Qualifying for the world show as an open stallion really was the icing on the cake. I kept him entire until he was 6 but as I decided that I probably wouldn’t breed I had him gelded and he is now out with my other gelding loving life as a gelding. He is so much fun to ride and always tries his heart out to please. I hope to do some more ridden showing with him. We love riding out through the Quantocks, he is barefoot but we put hoof boots on him for that as its rocky! He loves riding through the valleys, forest, moorlands and even the wild ponies that we find on our travels. Thank you so much for all the help you have given me with learning about Quarter Horses, I am so pleased that I came to you when getting my first QH! Debbie Burns |

Dee Dee is by far the best QH we have ever owned, she is willing, solid in mind & body, a pleasure to be around, a very kind hearted mare, & has been from day one. We are very very proud her. John Norton |

We have purchased 3 foals and an imported QH mare from Evans’ Quarter Horses. All grew into first class healthy horses with beautiful temperaments and loving characters. |

My first contact with Pat was about 5 or 6 years ago when I first looked into buying a Quarter Horse. I knew very little about the breed and Pat took the time to share her knowledge and love of Quarter Horses with me. Out of all the people I had emailed I immediately trusted her judgement & character and we have remained friends ever since. Over the years I have bought two foals from Pat “Banjo” and “Rusty”, both have grown into happy, healthy, magnificent creatures with unique & charming personalities. Pat also imported a wonderful mare for me, who I completely adore and will never part company from. She had bet both me and “Bonny” and knew we would be suited. I trusted Pat’s judgement completely and have to say she got the match 100% right! In my opinion Pat certainly knows and understands this breed exceptionally well and I would recommend her as the best Quarter Horse breeder in the UK every time. Both Pat & Graham have welcomed me to their home on several occasions.....their continued support and friendship seems effortless. Simone Steele |

Our journey started and five hours later !!! around all the smallest roads the Sat Nav could find we arrived at my newly appointed livery yard. A Livery Yard that was undergoing ( and still is !) major changes, tractors, diggers, bits of wood, stable doors , you name it was there somewhere ! Jo didnt turn a hair, unloaded like he had been doing it forever. I can lead him out over the fields, trailer him, round pen him. he has been lunged, saddled and bridled. Is happy to help put his boots on to be lunged ! Will happily stay in his stable or be out in his field on his own. All this in the 3 months that I have owned him ! What will he be like in the next 3 months , I can't wait ! Jo and I are good friends, he is the horse I have always dreamed about, you can have fun with him but he knows his place too. I have never seen him with his ears back, he has the kindest of natures and I trust him. Its lovely and I can't thank Pat enough for helping me to choose him. Audrey and Jo (Little Joes Lynx) One to look out for at the Shows ! |
