Susie The Bartender - Mare
We saw Susie as a 2 year old when out in USA buying Stony. The ranch had bred one of their best mares to a stallion called Bart Bartender, who has points in 5 different AQHA events, in the hope of producing a stallion to continue their breeding program. Sadly for them the result was a filly, lucky for us! She was imported in foal to War Chiefs Pride and her first foal was a stunning dun that turned grey. Susie has passed on her wonderful temperament and conformation, as the foal went on to be an AQHA multiple Grand Champion stallion with 15 wins in Halter and a qualification to the AQHA world show. He was later gelded as the owners didn’t want to breed, so is now competing under saddle, winning his first ever Green Hunter class. She has a lovely flowing stride and produces versatile horses that can compete in any discipline. She is a real ‘cowboy colour’ with a combination of Dun, roan and grey genes. |
