Sheza German Melody - Mare
It had been about 6 years since we imported this gorgeous daughter of Heza German Melody from Nedpoint Quarter Horses, in foal to Banjo Whiz. She'd had 90 days riding before being bred and I thought I'd just see what she was like never having ridden her. Lunged her a bit, and rode her a bit. Not much as the field is like a road, but she was amazing! Big, sweet genuine mare who has been re-bred to Muffin for a 2011 foal not having had one this year. Should she not be in foal she will be bred to ZZ Hoss next year. Absolutely sweet and kind with 90 days riding before we bred her to Banjo Whiz. She had her colt out in USA where we sold him before re-breeding her back to Banjo Whiz and shipping her home just over a year ago. Once again she produced a stunning sorrel colt who is now with Simone along with two others she bought from us. This is the only colt in the UK by Banjo Whiz to date and with his pedigree, temperament and looks, he will go far! Mel is a gorgeous big and gentle mare who had a couple of years off breeding. Her pedigree is packed full of money earning, performance horses, no wonder her foals are doing so well. She has a puppy dog temperament (except she doesn't jump up!!) and is calm and gorgeous. One of our favourites along with the other 9 mares! A fabulous big, deep mare with a superb character with a very exciting performance bloodline to go in any direction. Must get a saddle back on this sweet mare this summer before she has her next foal. Her 2009 filly was her first with Muffin - a superb combination, substance, pretty, correct and gorgeous. |
